Welcome to Torch Lake Protection Alliance website.

Torch Lake Protection Alliance (TLPA) provides a unifying voice for riparians who regard the preservation of Torch Lake as a top priority, enabling this and future generations to enjoy responsible use of this geological jewel. Established in 1994, TLPA encourages members to be good neighbors within their communities by keeping informed and acting when necessary to prevent harmful environmental activities. We investigate issues relevant to the protection of Torch Lake and its environs.  We work with members, public officials and others to promote policies that are beneficial to Torch Lake and to avoid those which are not.  When necessary, we provide resources to oppose harmful policies and activities.  And most importantly, we provide ongoing opportunities for everyone who wishes to work for the benefit of the lake.

Members receive newsletters, email alerts, and have access to our membership directory.  You will be able to pay your dues online, check the status of your membership, keep up with local issues, find local resources and government contacts, donate to TLPA, and order your Taste of Torch tickets and much more.  All this is on a secure website which is password protected.  Membership in TLPA is a sound investment in the beauty and quality of Torch Lake.
